Ashton Kutcher catwalk movie

I watched this steven speilberg movie the other night, so some of this has to do with that, but the rest just is what it is!

I was the character in that movie (can't remember the name) trying to escape the underground city. EVERYONE knew that in order to escape you took the last door on the right at the end of every hallway/tunnel. So I did that for quite a while, until I came to a catwalk. To the right was a gymnasium where people where having some sort of lesson. To the right was a lodge type area with wooden rafters and a fireplace which starkly contrasted the city I left which was all metallic and white. Now, I'm not that character anymore and I'm watching the scene take place. Ashton Kutcher is now the main character beginning to cross the catwalk and on the catwalk which is now half wood half hammock is a kindergarten class with two teachers. Ashton runs across the catwalk and knocks into a couple of kids and almost falls between the wood and the hammock. "CUT", yells the director who is human except for his face which is that of the chef on "chowder" a nick cartoon. He is also dressed in the royal guard uniform from England with the tall fuzzy hat and everything. All of the actors begin to complain that this is really not that safe and the scene should change to make the children safer and so forth. The director disagrees and tells them to practice until they get it right After almost killing themselves several times, they decide that it should be a special effects thing and remove the children. Ashton does a little fake thing as he runs across. The kindergarten teacher and him a falling in love. One day they come back to the set and the bridge is all wood, so the director has listened.

It's after the movie is done, and they all were back at the catwalk. The director tells Ashton to walk across it, he has made some changes. Ashton puts one foot on and that end of the wooden catwalk/bridge is not nailed down. Ashton refused, the director insists. Ashton says that it will kill him. The director yells that it won't. Ashton says it will, and the directors says no it won't, see and proceeds to step onto the catwalk. The catwalk immediately collapses and the director falls straight to his feet and breaks his legs. He says see I'm not dead.
