Mist of Heaven
I was at a church. It was a big ol' traditional church. I was working on a project for someone. I was writing down peoples ideas of God on paper. The idea was to make a flower out of the paper and put it up on a bulletin board. It wasn't working though. First of all, all the ideas were written on white paper...some lined some not, some even used. Instead of folding them all pretty, they were just folded in half or even wadded up and stuck on the board. You couldn't even read most of them. Then it was time to start the service. They started singing a hymn and at first it was rather ordinary. But there was just something different. a couple of people started skipping. Then More. Then we were all holding hands in a giant circle side skipping around the auditorium. Then we danced, holding hands, out of the church and we were in a neighborhood. The Joy and prescience of the Lord was overwhelming. Then we stopped, because people we knew who had died were all of the sudden with us dancing. They began telling us how death is not to be feared. That Heaven is something we could never imagine. I noticed several people in the crowd I knew. Some were "dead" but I knew them not to actually be dead. They were however people I considered "the worst sinners." Again the prescience of the Lord was overwhelming. Suddenly a young man "one of the worst" pointed down the street and a mist/fog was rolling in across the houses. It was in the middle of summer, but suddenly a cool mist touched us. In the mist flakes like snow, but not cold, also fell on us. A sound filled the air, it was the sound of the people singing the hymn and a sound so overwhelming that I fell to my knees and began weeping and crying out "Holy, Holy, Holy! You are Holy God!". After a while the mist left and the crowed simply stood still for a while. The dead people were gone and then the crowd dispersed. A friend of mine was there, and I remembered she had to leave soon. We started discussing our responsibilities at the church and soon the whole experience was out of thoughts because we had so much to do to get ready for the things we had to do at church that night. It was almost like it was an inconvenience to have had the mist experience because now we had to rush to get the other stuff done and change all our plans.

crazy night of dreams
I'll try to put down what I remember. Although the whole night was full of not only vivid but emotionally charged dreams, I only remember a few snippets.
The beginning of the dream is very fuzzy. I remember trying to answer a phone and a contest.
I was driving in a pick up with Eythan away from our church which was my parents’ church and it was also not a church but a movie theatre and a day care. We left and went down a street that is in my home town that leads to a Minyards. For some reason there was a nursery type place and we saw that some of the plants and things had fallen off a shelf and no one was around so we got out and started picking them up. Eythan started putting thing on a different shelf although it was apparent that they went on another one. He even went out of his way to do that. I called him on it and he started putting them up right. Then I couldn’t remember if I locked up so I left Eythan there straightening while I went back to the church. When I pushed on the door to check it, it was indeed unlocked and when I went through it was a bar/pool hall. I was still in the truck inside the bar and I needed to turn it around to get out. Everyone was laughing because they thought I couldn't do it and I just needed to back out. I just smiled and all of the sudden the truck turned into a teeny tiny car that could just spin on a dime and I turned it and got it back outside. Then I went up stairs to shut stuff down. I started turning off lights. The upstairs to the church was only like five or six rooms but as I started turning off lights I kept finding rooms and staircases and then staircases that lead to other staircases and huge gothic chapels. It was like one of those paintings where you can’t tell where up or down is. But it wasn’t ominous.
I guess I finally got home and went to bed but Jon wasn't there. Caedon was in bed with me and in the middle of the night my friend Susanna knocked on the door. I was expecting her. She and a friend had traveled all night to visit in a rental car. Since Jon wasn't there she just went to sleep in bed with me and Caedon and her friend (who I never saw) slept somewhere else. I got up early (so I thought) and asked her how long she wanted to sleep. She asked me what time I need to be at church. I said 8 and I looked at the clock and it was 10. I was upset at first but then I said they'd get along with out me. She asked me what exactly I did at the church and I couldn't give her an answer. I was trying to give it a name but the only thing I could think was "everything". She asked if we had one of those places to return rental cars at the church and I said no. She said "Oh it's not big enough to have one of those?" and I said no very confused. I asked her if she was just renting for day to day and she said yes, it was cheaper that way. She would turn in this rental car and get a new one. I asked her about it and then the scene changed. It was more of a commercial for the rental car. It was a program where you could rent a car month to month. It said you can change your car with your moods but you keep the equity in the car. So basically you’re paying a car payment and you always get to keep getting new cars. When you pay off the car you just notify Shelter Insurance and someone else then you keep the last car you picked. They also advertised their convenient exchange locations at most churches.
