Tractors and stuff
We lived out in the country, sort of. There was an old eccentric lady who wanted to go to the senior citizen community club, and was driving her tractor there. She called Jon and asked him if he would come take her because the tractor was too slow to drive. He went and picked her up and used our van to tow the tractor back. He also brought her house shoes which I put on and was walking around the house in. Later on she needed to be picked up and went to get her. Instead of her driving the tractor back, she drove our van and I took the tractor. I did pretty well even thought there seemed to be lots of construction around. Until I got to a very narrow part of the road and lost control almost hitting a worker. I finally got around them but the edge of the tire slipped off the road and then I was falling off a ledge into a ravine. Somehow I landed on a very narrow ledge on my shoulders with my head hanging off and my feet straight up in the air. The tractor was on top of me, though it didn't hurt. I was holding it up and I was in very precarious situation. An Oriental woman looked over the side and said she would get me some help, but she fell over the side too. She landed a little ways down on a broader ledge. When she got up she said "Oh, no! I've landed on your dad's dog." she picked up our dog Buddy who was flat on one end and stiff. I thought he had been run over. She tossed him over to me and went back up to get help. I caught him and realized he was still alive and not breathing very well. I started praying for his healing and he did start getting better. Eventually people came to help me and in the process of trying to rescue me the trailer slipped and crashed to bottom of the ravine. Ropes were then dropped to me and I used them to slide to the bottom and my feet landed in the stream, but I started to climb back up. I could only go half way up where there were people waiting for me to guide me out. We had to go up these rickety old stairs build into the side of the ravine. When we started walking up them they started falling apart and then we had to run. When we got to the top and were following a trail, even though people were ahead of me, my path kept being blocked by giant spider webs. Some one would run back and clear the path, and eventually I was safe and tried to start walking home since it was close, but the Oriental woman kept trying to give me her phone number so our families could get together but I couldn't find pen or paper and really just wanted to get home anyway. In the morning I was unloading the dishwasher and Jon walked in. I said. "Did I tell you what happened to me last night?" Jon said "What happened to you last night?" I said "Oh I guess I didn't, but first I need to tell you that Buddy is dead." But just then Buddy came running through the kitchen. I said "Oh I guess I dreamed it." and went back to unloading the dishwasher, but I realized I still had the old lady's slippers on, and the dishwasher was loaded with full tea pitchers like I had done it when I was tired so I realized that I didn't dream it. Jon said we needed to go to the mall and get some stuff because we were having dinner with the Hansens. We went there and we kept running into people we know like the Cadenheads, and The Taylors, and Justin and Jaquelyn. We decided to invite all of them to come with us. I was talking to Wesley and I told him that I really appreciated him leading worship with me last time. He started crying and Mia said "You really don't know how much that means to him. He thinks he messed it all up." I reassured him that he did a great job and he has a really calling and that no one ever plays perfect, but that's not what it's all about. They decided to follow me to the Hansens and I got in my car...I think it was a smart car. But every where I was trying to go was blocked by construction and had detours. But even the detours had obstacles and broken roads. I finally decided all I had to do was go in the opposite direction I wanted, make a u-turn, and then I would be going the way I was supposed to. The Taylor's were following me in their white minivan. After that, I would up back home, just me and Caeden, but home was now my grandfather's house. There was a giant screen tv, and super duper surround sound in his yard, so that the whole neighborhood could watch tv together. We had a leather couch in the front yard, and me and Caeden curled up on it and watched Family Guy.
